We're changing our prices this September
Cost of living has been rising for all of us. But it has hit our Etalem professionals the hardest — your Etalem cooks, cleaners, and babysitters who serve your family. We've kept our prices the same since November 2025. Now it's time for a small change. We're announcing this change in advance, in September, so you and your family have time to prepare. If you have a regular plan, the new price starts with your first renewal from November 2026 onward — until then, your service continues exactly as usual.
Why now
Over the past year, the cost of food, transport, and housing has fluctuated significantly, and is now rising sharply. These increases affect our Etalem professionals first — the cooks, cleaners, and babysitters who serve your family every day.
Everything costs more right now
Our Etalem professionals are paying much more for food, transport, and rent than they did a year ago.
We waited as long as we could
Our prices have not changed since November 2025. But costs kept going up for the people doing the work.
We want to keep them with you
We want to make sure our Etalem professionals are paid fairly in today's economy, so the people your family has come to know and trust can stay by your side.
We know this is not easy for you either
We know this isn't easy news, especially when your own costs have gone up too. That's exactly why we held off for as long as we could, and why we kept this increase as small as possible. In the end, we want the same thing you do: a fair wage for the people who care for your family, and a price that still feels right for you.
Our promise: every Etalem service provider should earn enough to live well. And every family we serve deserves a service provider who is paid fairly, supported, and happy to be there.
